Who
we are & What We Do
WE PRAY ALWAYS FOR THE GRACE TO PRAISE GOD, TO BE OPEN TO HIM AND
TO LOVE HIM; WE DESIRE TO FOLLOW AND IMITATE CHRIST.The Marian Helpers will take leadership
roles within the group. Their primary
role will be to share their valuable knowledge and experiences, encourage the
younger members and work with the Marian Juniors.
The Marian Youth will take the roles as evangelists. They will bring the message of the rosary alive through ministry by leading the rosary, performing plays and spreading the news of Christ's love in whatever other way the Spirit may inspire them.
The
Marian Juniors, our younger children, will participate in what ways they
can. They will offer the flowers during
the com, our younger children, will participate in what ways they
can. They will offer the flowers during
the communal rosary and learn more about their faith through stories and
crafts. They will be assisted by the
Marian Helpers and Marian Youth, who will serve as both teachers and mentors.
With
the best of our abilities aided by the Spirit of God, we aim to carry out the
message of the rosary through our lives.
Through the Blessed Mother, praying the Rosary helps guide us to
meditate more deeply on the life of her Son, and therefore, we learn to live
and get to know Christ more deeply and intimately.
Each
group will participate in the activities below to their own level during our
monthly meetings and any other special events in which the Spirit guides us.
To walk and be with
God alone,
we become more mindful of His presence by:
v
regularly reciting the rosary
v
attending mass (daily mass if possible)
v
studying our Catholic faith through scripture and
church teachings.
To foster and renew
this spiritual life together,
we will meet at least once a month during which time we will
join together in:
v
Prayer Rosary, Psalms, Intercessory prayer
v
Fellowship We share events from our spiritual journeys and offer and receive
support from each other studying our Catholic faith through scripture and
church teachings.
v
Study Each month we will study in depth a part of our faith, focusing on the
life of Christ and learn how to imitate him by practicing and living these
virtues in our daily life.
v
Ministry We join the Marian Icon on Tour. We rehearse and plan skits, talks and
other fun activities, as the Spirit inspires us, in which we can bring the
message of the rosary to others.
The Marian
Children give of themselves to glorify the Lord and spread the message of our
Blessed Mother
whose life is ever dedicated and lived for him, our Lord and Savior.
