The Marian Children reciting the Rosary
Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with Thee;
blessed art thou among Women, and blessed is the fruit of Thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners,
now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

The Marian Children before the rosary

Our Blessed Mother knew just how to handle her little precious ones. Now I know why she comes to them, and why the Lord warned any body who leads them astray!

The children's lively spirit, their enthusiasm, their innocent and angelic faces sure gave me the confidence to be my very self in conversing and responding to their questions concerning the Lord, the Blessed Mother and our faith. In other words, I recognized the Holy Spirit in them and She sure was very present in our midst!

Despite our weaknesses, in your loving mercy, please continue to guide our every way, and may your holy will for us be done. Amen.

Many thanks to Cathy Meyer, Dot Spicka and all the staff who did a wonderful job getting the children ready for this special event! May the Lord continue to grant them the many graces, especially love and patience in dealing with these little ones.

Hail Holy Mother of God!
Please intercede for us so that we may live together in love and peace with one another always.
Please pray that the Lord always delivers us from all harms in all: body, soul, spirit and mind, especially, the little innocent children's. May He keep us safe and happy trusting in his Fatherly love. And that through your motherly tender embrace, you will help lead us closer to him, our Savior and our Lord. Amen.

Thank you all very much for your prayer. We thank Fr. Dan, Mary, and many others who helped organize and make the visit of the Icon a blessed, grace-filled and memorable one. With the Blessed Mother's intercession and guidance, their enthusiasm, prayer and support sure give us the encouragement and the confidence to move forward to our next visit: St. Patrick's in Mt. Morris.

May the Lord continue to Bless Fr. Dan and this parish as they celebrate 150th Anniversary of St. Mary's church and as they walk together in faith to the road that leads us home. Amen.
