Almost all the time, when our Blessed Mother, in her physical body, would like to get her people's attention, she would show herself to children and have them deliver her messages. Why is that so? If we meditate on this question we will find that the answer is written within our hearts.
Therefore, it is very important to remind ourselves of the special love and privilege she has for children. We all have unique and personal ways to respond to her loving
affection. Taking part in such events like Marian
Icon on Tour
is a good and personal way in which we can acknowledge her special caring
attention and show our love for her in return...
The Marian Children include all age groups, cultures, languages and nationalities.
They are Marian Helpers, Marian Youth and Marian Juniors. With the support and
guidance of Marian Helpers from different parishes, we will learn to live our
faith more deeply through prayer, spiritual sharing and outreach ministries
(such as the Marian Icon on Tour.)
The Marian Children's prominent ministry is to focus on our union with Christ by
meditating on his life through praying the rosary. The Youth will lead the
communal recitation of the rosary while the Juniors
will offer roses and flowers between the five decades.
In short, we all will grow stronger in faith and spirit as we come to realize the
love that Jesus and his Blessed Mother have for us; and therefore, will
dedicate ourselves to return that love through prayer and ministry.
