Update
May 13, 2007 Dear all,
Peace. We would like to inform you that our good Br. Lawrence passed away
peacefully at 10:30 this morning. It is a grace-filled event for our community
that all our founders and pioneers have now completed their earthly pilgrimage
and have given us an encouraging witness of monastic perseverance in spite of
everything. We celebrated the Mass for the 6th Sunday of Easter while the
community was singing Lauds. We will be transferring the body to the Church in
an hour's time and the Mass of the Resurrection will be tomorrow at 4 pm and
the burial follows after the
We thank each of you for we know that you will be united with us as we bid
farewell to Br Lawrence's bodily presence among us.
The mango harvest is on top gear at the moment. But we try to take everything
in stride. Thank you and good Br Tom for the wonderful visit.
